Doula Service
As a doula and Prenatal RMT, I understand the importance of consistent support during labor, regardless of your birth plan or where you choose to give birth.
Whether you have a doctor or midwife, and whether you're planning a home birth or hospital birth, having someone by your side who is dedicated to supporting you throughout the entire process can make a world of difference.
From the moment labor begins, I will be there, providing continuous support and guidance every step of the way. I'll stay by your side regardless of your dilation or contraction pattern, offering reassurance, comfort, and encouragement until after your baby is born and your family is settled.
Labor can be challenging for partners too, and I'm here to support them as well. I'll help partners understand what's happening, provide reassurance, and encourage them to actively participate in supporting you during labor. I'll ensure that you are fully informed about the process, help you ask the right questions, and facilitate communication with medical staff.
In addition to emotional and physical support, I also offer practical assistance such as massage, breathing exercises for pain management, birth education, and nutritional guidance. What sets my services apart is my background as a registered massage therapist and professional photographer, offering you a comprehensive and unique package tailored to your needs.
I'm here to support you every step of the way on your journey to motherhood, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

FAQ
  • Do I need to hire Doula when hiring you as a birth photographer?
The response varies depending on your needs. While I offer services as a blended role doula and photographer, it's important to note that balancing both roles may require compromising on some aspects of either photography or doula support. Through my experience attending numerous births in both capacities, I've found managing both roles to be feasible. However, if you seek uninterrupted, dedicated doula support throughout the entire birth process, I recommend considering hiring an additional support doula
  • How far in advance should I book with you?
I suggest scheduling your session between 1 to 6 months ahead of time to secure your preferred date and time. For birth photography bookings, it's best to secure your spot as soon as possible (first trimester), as I only offer birth photography services during specific seasons
  • How long does it take to receive my photos after the session
I thoroughly enjoy editing, which allows me to typically deliver your photos sooner. You can expect to receive your edited images within 1 to 4 weeks after our session
  • Do you offer wedding photography?
Currently, I do not provide wedding photography services. However, I am considering expanding into this area in the future and look forward to exploring the possibilities
  • What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our outdoor session?
While I never insist on photographing in the rain or snow unless it's specifically requested, I am open to the idea if you're interested. However, in the event of rain, we can easily reschedule your session. It's worth noting that rain photography can result in incredibly intimate and beautiful images if you're ever inclined to explore that option
  • How long do you stay during birth?
I usually arrive when you're in the active phase of labor, generally around 5-6 cm dilated, and remain until the baby is delivered. I stay through the "golden hour," which is the first hour after birth, before heading home to give you space for bonding time with your newborn
  • Do you offer video services in addition to photography?
Currently, I don't provide video services, but I'm dedicating my time and expertise to developing this offering in the future
